1) Payment Methods
a. Payment: Money Order; Cashier Check; Business Check; Credit Cards (Visa; Master Card). We hope to add American Express and Discover soon.
b. Artwork will begin after payment is received and verified if paid by cashier check or money order. These forms of payment naturally take longer to clear.
2) Sales Tax
Shipments with a final destination in Florida will be charged sales tax of 6% except wholesale orders to customers with tax ID.
3) Availability & Artwork Production Time
In stock orders are shipped with 3 days of receipt of order and payment. Checks and Money Orders will take longer because we must wait for verified payment to reach our accounts. Orders which are painted by artists by special order request such as custom art, paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photos, the artwork time depends on the quality, complexity and size of the request (For example it usually takes about 4 weeks for a 8 x 10 painting of a couple such as a man and wife, or bride and groom with a non-detailed background).
4) Quality
a. The artworks on the web site are samples only. Every artist has own style and own finishing touch, therefore we can't guarantee the paintings as exactly the same because all of our paintings are hand painted. However, we will arrange for different levels of experienced artists according to the quality and the price options you choose from our store. All paintings are done using only high quality paints and materials.
b. All paintings are high-medium to high quality, except Standard Collection is regular quality. If you wish to order in top quality, please let us know. All custom art such as paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photos are high quality works of art that you will be proud to display.
c. All our paintings are absolutely hand paint on canvas using only high quality paints and materials.
d. All non-painting artwork and gift items are also hand-made and could be detailed slightly differently and may not appear exactly as pictured on our website. However all of our non-painting artwork and gift items are eligible for our money back guarantee.
5) Return & Exchange Policy
a. We are so confident in the integrity of our products that we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee for every piece of artwork, gift items and paintings we sell to our customers except for custom art, paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photos and paintings of standard quality. All items except for custom art, paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photos and standard quality paintings can be returned within 3 days in original condition. Every effort is made to satisfy customers of custom art, paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photos before the final painting is sent by emailing pictures of the painting to the customer for comment and/or revision and/or acceptance. b. Refunds on eligible returns will be processed within 30 days from the date of return receipt for the full price minus the shipping cost and the 15% restocking fee.
c. You are fully responsible for the cost of shipping and the packing in original condition, therefore insure all items that you return.
d. No exchange or return on any painting when stretched.
e. No return for regular quality paintings (Standard Collection). However all higher-grade paintings and all non-painting artwork and gifts are eligible for return except for custom art, paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, and paintings from photos. f. All return & exchange request must be notified to us by e-mail to receive an RMA within 3 days of receiving the items with your name, address, phone number, item purchased and reason for dissatisfaction.
g. Absolutely no refunds will be made nor return packages accepted without a legitimate RMA number obtained from us on the front address label on the exterior of the package!
h. We will make all efforts to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. If for any reason you feel dissatisfied, please let us know as soon as possible. Your feedback is very important to us.
i. The exchange credit cannot be used for the shipping charges on any exchange items.
j. There are no refunds or exchanges on wholesale orders.
k. There is a %50 non-refundable deposit due before any work is begun on any custom art, paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photos. It can be paid online through our store or over the phone or by mail. Once payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provide with your order number. Click on reply and attach your photo(s) and write your name, address, and phone number on the email with your instructions on how you want the painting created. 6) Damage and Lost
We are not responsible for any damaged and lost packages during the shipping process. All packages from Ye Old Art Shoppe are shipped insured for the amount of purchase and you are responsible for inspecting your package for any damage and filing any claims of damage with the carrier. You will be responsible for all charges related if you submitted a wrong shipping address.
