1) Are your oil paintings made by machine? Absolutely Not!!! All of the oil paintings on this web site are completely hand made using only high quality paints and materials by our talented artists. 2) What is the quality of your paintings and does it look exactly like the picture on the web page? All our paintings are high-medium to high quality, except the Standard Collection that is regular quality and very attractively priced. If you wish to order in top quality, please let us know. Every artist has own style and own finishing touch, therefore, we can't guarantee that your paintings will be exactly the same as the examples on the website, because they are all individually hand painted. However, we will arrange different levels of experienced artists according to the quality and the price. All custom order art such as paintings from photographs, photos 2 paintings, and paintings from photos are high quality art by our best artists. In order to maintain the highest quality and accuracy, every one of our paintings will be technically inspected by our art director. 3) Do you provide frame and stretching service? We provide frame and stretching serviced to retail and wholesale orders for a small additional charge. 4) How long will I need to wait for my painting(s)? If we have the artwork in stock we will usually ship within 3 days of receiving your order. Custom artwork such as paintings from photographs, paint from photos, photos 2 pictures, usually ships in about 3 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the work. Please see our custom art page for more details on this subject. Wholesale orders will depend on the order details, which usually takes about 2 to 4 weeks. We will send you an email informing you that your item has shipped and detailing the shipping information so that you may track your package on your shipper's website. 5) How much are the shipping costs? Our shipping charge depends on what is ordered but is itemized in the breakdown of charges in our store. Wholesale order shipping is charged depending on actual order detail. 6) Do you charge sales tax? Shipments with a final destination in Florida will be charged sales tax of 6%. There is an exemption for wholesale customers with tax numbers. 7) I never heard AAE Express? AAE Express is an international express shipping company, partnering with DHL, so you will be delivered by DHL. When you see that there is another tracking number starting from number 9, that means the shipment has been transferred to DHL, you may copy the numbers and track from DHL's web site. 8) What are your shipping methods? We usually ship by US Mail, UPS, AAE/DHL or FedEx Ground. We will notify you what shipping method in the tracking number when order is completed and shipped. 9) Is ordering online safe? In today's commerce, online shopping is becoming more and more popular. In this climate, it is highly important that you, the shopper, will receive the up-most payment security. That is why our web site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your payment information that you send over the Internet. Upon entering your Checkout section, your browser will display the icon of a locked padlock at the bottom of the screen. This is a safety mark to let you know that your payment information will be kept secured. If you still prefer not to order securely online, you may always send us your credit card information, a check, or money order through the postal mail or order over the phone.
10) Do you offer a guarantee? On all in stock and non-special order art and gifts we offer a 3-day money back guarantee although there is a 15% restocking charge. We feel that 3 days is sufficient time to decide whether or not you like a piece of art. An RMA must be obtained by emailing cs@yeoldartshoppe.com with your Name, address, phone number, order number, item purchased and reason for dissatisfaction. The email must be received with-in 3 days of the day that our insured package has reached you. Absolutely no returned items will be accepted without a valid RMA number obtained from us on the outside address label of the package. The item must be carefully packed in its original packing material and insured mailed to the address we give you with the RMA. If the item is received in the condition it was sent then a refund will be issued to your credit card number, or you will be mailed a check if you paid by check, minus the shipping costs and the 15% restocking fee. There is no specific guarantee on custom artwork, photos 2 paintings, paintings from photographs, paintings from photos although every effort is made to insure that you are satisfied before the item is shipped. See the custom artwork page for more details on this subject. There is no guarantee on wholesale artwork. 11) What if my purchase has been lost or damaged in shipping? All packages sent from Ye Old Art Shoppe are sent insured for the amount of purchase. Carefully inspect the package that was sent to you for damage from the shipper. If your item has been damaged in shipping, then it is up to you to file an insurance claim with the shipper. 12) Do you sell worldwide? Yes, but we reserve the right to refuse orders from countries with a high rate of fraudulent payment. 13) Do you paint adult and sexually explicit watercolor and oil paintings from photographs? Yes, but we do not post such material on our website.
